5 Ingredient Peanut Butter Freezer Fudge

Peanut butter fudge. Need I say more? The best part about it— it’s super easy to make and only uses 5 ingredients. Smooth, creamy and utterly awesome. Don’t underestimate your freezer to make tasty desserts.

The One Pot Chef has you covered in the video below. Now, the One Pot Chef does use Australian Metrics for his measurements, but those can easily be converted.

To get your fudge going, it does require a little bit of heat. In a cooking pot, toss in condensed sweetened milk, butter, whipping cream, vanilla extract, and peanut butter. Now the ultimate question: do you like your peanut butter smooth or crunchy? Adding a little crunch to this freezer dessert would just be plain awesome.

Over medium heat, stir your peanut butter goo until it all melts together and thickens. Pour your fudge mixture inside a baking pan, allow it to come to room temp, and toss it in the freezer until it hardens.

I don’t see why you couldn’t get away with nuking this concoction in the microwave and stirring it in minute intervals until you get the same consistency. It should work just the same.

By the way, you can totally make this dessert dairy-free by making your own sweetened condensed coconut milk, coconut-based whipping cream (you can find this at your local health food store), and using Earth Balance butter.

Get creative and add chocolate chips to the top of the peanut butter fudge at room temp or melt the chips in with the fudge.
I happen to be a banana fanatic – so eating the freezer fudge along with a few banana slices on top would just be divine.
Add it to ice cream, or eat it by itself. I’m about to go make some right now.
