Lynx-Smart-Grill

Grilled corn on the cob. Grilled herb pizzas. Portobello burgers on the grill. What do all of these things have in a common? The grill. All hail the almighty grill…but not just any grill for that matter. If you want to grill like a master who needs his or her own TV show on the Food Network channel. Hold up, wait a minute—stop daydreaming over there. Step aside Gordon Ramsey, stuff’s about to get real. If you end up with things undercooked (ew), overcooked (rocks anyone?), or get a little stressed when there’s a big family cookout (whoa, did dad just turn into the Incredible Hulk?), it’s okay; a smart grill is here to the rescue. Now you can really cook like a grill master pro.

Lynx, the manufacturer of top-notch grills, has a Wi-Fi, voice-controlled smart grill that can be yours in March of this year if you have $7,500 to shell out. Just in time for grilling season, your user-commands will automatically cook food to perfection. It’s time to melt, snow; we’ve got food to grill.

Once a prototype at last year’s CES, the year of 2015 is the year for you to sit back and relax while your grilling does all of the cooking for you.

Here’s how it works. To begin your cookout, the Lynx smart grill asks you a couple of questions about what you plan on cooking. Simply tell your grill what you want to make, and it’ll ask you how many burners you want to use. No joke. The smart grill then connects to a huge, online database of recipes through its mobile app. Once connected, the smart grill will send you constant updates through your smartphone, telling you its current and target temperatures for said recipe. Along with monitoring temperature times, you’ll also receive a series of steps for the amount of time your yummies need to sizzle before flipping and serving ‘em.

With visual cues, audio alerts and smartphone notifications, is there anything this grill cannot do? It'll even tell you which burners to place your food on so that everything is finished together.

It’s time to eat.

Did you turn off the grill? I don’t know either, but the Lynx Smart Grill does. If you don’t give the grill instructions for 30 minutes, it will automatically turn itself off. Now, isn’t that the best thing since 1999?

Made out of high-quality stainless steel to combat the elements of Mother Nature, this smart gas grill is the dream grill for rookie grillers and even the pros alike.
