Craft a Kitchen Tablet Holder for $2

A kitchen tablet holder is a nice piece of equipment to have. When it comes to referencing recipes, it’s convenient to have your tablet propped up so you can go about cooking without the hassle of dirtying it with food goo.

Over at Mamie Jane’s, a lifestyle blog that’s all about thrifting and repurposing, Jane shares how she replicated a kitchen tablet holder that she was inspired from the Pottery Barn, costing $34.50. Ouch!

So, she grabbed up an old cutting board she picked up from a thrift store, glued a Scrabble holder to the bottom of the board, and glued a triangle building block on the backside. It turns out the Scrabble tile holder is the perfect fit for a tablet, and the building block adds enough support to keep the board upright. From there, she painted, sanded and stained her creation for a vintage look! The whole project cost her $2 and works like a charm.

Chances are, you have exactly what you need right in your home.
