How to Make Magnet Cups for Your Refrigerator

Going through cups like it’s nobody’s business is an easy habit to get into. I, myself, am guilty of such. Before you know it, I’ve gone through 1,000s of cups for a small, glass of water, as where one throughout the day could have sufficed. Now the dishwasher’s full, and no more cups are available. Okay, so this is definitely a first world problem, but if you have children, you know the struggle is real.

Thanks to Rheannon Rundstrom from Adventures in Pinteresting, she has found the solution to cut down on your cup usage. By turning them into magnets of course. With 4 children of her own, she was washing 6 cups a day. What a pain. There's no need to waste anymore money or time on cleaning excess cups.

Now, you of course are going to need to use plastic cups for this—ceramic or glass is just bad news bears for this trick. For less than $5, Rundstrom makes this solution way too easy for you and/or the kids. All you need to do is glue a couple of magnets on each plastic cup with superglue, allow them to dry, and stick ‘em right to your refrigerator. When it’s time to take a sip, pull your cup off the fridge, and fill it up with whatever you’d like. Just make sure the cup is completely empty before slapping it back onto the refrigerator again.

Washing is easy—hand wash the cups every couple of days. In the majority of the comments, many people toss their magnet cups right in their dishwasher without any problems of the magnets popping off. I suppose if they do come off, it doesn’t take much to glue the magnets right back on.
