CES 2015, the international Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas, officially opened its show room floor today, January 6th and will continue through the 9th. Yesterday, LG held a conference on their latest and greatest washing machine and refrigerator for 2015 as shown in the video below.
Are you tired of playing the waiting game of enough piled up clothes to justify a load in the washer? LG thinks this is nonsense and doesn’t want you to waste anymore valuable time than you have to. Thanks to LG’s TWIN Wash System, you no longer have one machine to do the laundry, but rather two washers in one unit to get the deed done. The front-load washer features a bottom, pullout drawer that so happens to be a smaller washer. This second mini-washer, according to LG, is perfect to save time and effort when it comes to washing a few articles of specialized clothing, like your workout clothes. You can essentially wash two loads at the same time by placing a large load in the main washer and a smaller load in the pedestal. The other bonus is the mini-washer can be bought separately and used with any of LG’s front loaders.
All of LG’s washing machines will get laundry done faster. LG TurboWash 2.0 saves you up to 30 minutes per load – large or small – thanks to a couple of front nozzles that spray concentrated detergent on your clothing. Another top nozzle sprays water during spin cycles for quicker washing too. Where does the smartness come into play? Why through LG SmartThinQ of course. You can upload custom cycles to your washer and dryer, alerting you via text when cycles are complete.
With washing times reduced and getting a text when laundry's done, what can you do with all of this extra time? Hang out in the kitchen and snack by LG’s Multi-door Refrigerator by all means.
