Never Dust the Tops of Kitchen Cabinets Again

I don’t know why, but the kitchen is the dustiest place in the entire house (or apartment). Well, it is after all a high-traffic area. Between the dust and grease particles floating everywhere, this creates more cleaning chores—especially the tops of kitchen cabinets. Boo. If you have wax paper sitting around, tucked away in a drawer, now’s the time to use it.

If your kitchen cabinets don’t reach the ceiling, then you know how dusty the tops can get. It’s not just a light dusting; it’s a heavily coated, dust bunny party up there.

To help deflect the dust, tear yourself off a long sheet of wax paper and place it on top of your cabinets. The best part is, no one will ever know…except you of course. The wax paper will collect the dust and grease gunk.

Depending on how much you cook and how dusty your place is, replace the wax paper sheet with a new one every month or so. Instead of wasting a ton of paper towels as usual, it’s easy to just fold up the wax paper and toss it out. You prevent the icky buildup and save some cleaning time by never having to dust up there again. Now that’s something to smile about.
