The 1st True Kitchen Computer: June Intelligent Oven

June—an innovative tech company is revolutionizing the baking industry by introducing their computerized countertop oven: June Intelligent Oven. The oven has an interior camera, enabling you to follow a live feed of your food while it’s cooking. To top it off, it even includes an Nvidia Tegra processor, recognizing the foods you place inside. If that’s not snazzy enough, the oven will also recommend appropriate cooking settings in real-time.

It doesn't end there. The oven establishes a connection to your smartphone via an iOS app thanks to its built-in Wi-Fi. Thus, you can control the oven’s setting remotely, watch live footage of your dish cooking, and receive push notifications when it's time to eat. The app also provides time-lapse footage of your food so you can share a video of it cooking on social media.

June intelligent oven boasts of a spacious interior of 1 cubic foot, a modern technology control system, a 5-inch touch screen, and precision knob. You don’t even have to worry if your dish will burn—the oven will turn itself off after its thermometer detects your food has reached its targeted temperature.

Although the company says the June Intelligent Oven will initially be able to recognize about 15 common foods, they plan to provide regular updates to increase its range of food recognition. The oven is available for pre-order from the company's website for about $1,500 with an expected delivery in spring 2016.

The June oven is about the same size as a conventional toaster oven, though the pricing is substantially higher due to its technology. A closer competitor with smart features is the LG smart ThinQ LRE3027ST for less than $1400, according to CNET.

Even though June will not be joining your kitchen this year, you can pre-order one now by making a down payment of $95.
