The Powerbot Turbo VR9350: Samsung’s Robot Vacuum Cleaner

Advancements in robotics are changing how things are done in our homes. Now you don’t even need to physically push your vacuum cleaner around. In fact, you can tell your cleaner to start cleaning the house before you even arrive home. How you may ask, well, robot vacuums are the latest trend in cleaning home appliances. Samsung is the latest entrant in this scene with their Powerbot Turbo VR9350.

The vacuum cleaner is fitted with a Wi-Fi radio which is paired with a Smartphone. This enables remote operation as well as remote scheduling. As the Powerbot learns the layout of your home, it syncs the information learned in an app which in turn creates a map of your home’s floor plan.

With this floor plan, you can tap whichever room you want the vacuum to clean and the machine will find its way there. It still comes with a physical remote which features the “Point Cleaning” feature where you press a button to direct a laser onto the carpet which the Powerbot tracks. The vacuum cleaner comes with 40 watts of suction power. The Powerbot also features three power modes with different run times of 30 minutes, 60 minutes and 90 minutes.
