I am coming in behind a technician that has been working on this for the past month. He changed the door switches out, no idea what else. All 4 switches test good. Call tech support and they said according to the service manual this model should only have three switches. But all four switches are wired up. I can’t find the service manual can you send it to me. Thanks

No power at all, already checked the fuse and it’s good.

This microwave keeps blowing fuses then it will make nothing appear in the display. It only blows the fuse when the heat kicks on. Any other functions doesnt have an issue, but using the heat will blow the fuse.

it seems that the microwave needs a new mag tube and diode.

I Had a OL reading on a Cavity thermostat. Tech sheet said it was a single pole thermostat and that the contacts close at 158 degrees Fahrenheit. Now i thought this was a normally open thermostat then? totally confused me? Can you ellaborate with this. is that when they close after being heated up, or is this normally open? this is ona microwave btw which i thought would break the circuit.

Hello,

I have a KitchenAid Wall Microwave/Oven combo. Recently the the turntable stopped spinning. I checked the coupler and determined that it is not broken and suspect the issue is with the turntable motor (the turntable now spins freely, I don’t remember it doing that before). I need to know how to access the underside of the microwave (at least I think I need to) in order to replace the turntable. I’ve looked online and can’t find any videos or instruction on how to do this. Can you please help me with this issue or provide direction to reference materials to complete this task?

Thank you,
Jeff Wessling

This is an oven/microwave combo. Oven works fine and microwave works good except for it will not run longer than 1 minute. At that point, in the oven control board screen it will give an error code of F3E2. The microwave board doesn’t display this code. The oven sensors check fine as well as the oven works great! Not sure what this could be causing this as all works well except for the 1 minute time issue. Set for 3 minutes will cut off completely at 2 minutes. Any time frame will do the same.you can also start the microwave back up instantly and it will run for 1 minute. Any help would be great!!!

Unit powers on without issue. I had set the timer on the touchpad (for testing purposes) by pressing 1 0 0 0 ( for ten minutes ) and then hit “start”. After I hit the START button on the touchpad, the timer was counting down without issue but the microwave was not on or activated. I could not hear the motor or the fan or magnetron or anything.
Could there be a bad switch on the board inside ?

Microwave blow 1 of 20 amp fuses. Replace it and test circuits before plugging in. Disconnected the mag tube and tested diode gate. Turn power on display came on set the clock. Blower fans works on all speeds. When you set the cook time it the start swich blows the same 20 amp fuse. Looks like a bad short circuit. What do you think the problem can be. I tried everything?

The board on this unit was flicking off and on and constantly beeping. Will do this while the unit is idle. I changed the control, everything seemed ok, get a call and now the board says needs service and is beeping. Any ideas?

Hi,
The microwave blowing fuse, I was testing the switches I found the normally closed one is no good, I changed the switch.
The microwave worked perfectly at that time, now when opened the door again, the fuse blowed up again. Now I need help on what I should do and what is the problem.
Thank you.

We have gone four times to repair this microwave. The customer complains that the microwave does not heat. Initially we replaced the magnetron and it was working. On the second visit we replaced the thermal fuse. On the third visit it was heating but a reset was done aswell as reconected wires to thermal fuse and unit was heating. On the fourth visit the unit was heating but a reset was done again. Now the customer calls is complaing that it is not defrosting and heating, any suggestions?

This microwave will shut off mid cycle. The control will stay completely blank and nothing will happen. If you leave it unplugged for a little while it will cut back on and functional normal for a few cycles. Is the the control board going bad, or is it the mag tube interfering with the board and shutting it down. Are there any test I can do to check this, as everytime I am there after I plug unit up it will work fine for many back to back cycles
