I went trough the diagnostic mode and ran a few tests. In the diagnostic mode it starts up normally, fills with water, empties water and spins normally at a slow/medium speed. The error codes that show are F1 E2 which from what I have read is a problem with the Drive motor or Main electronic control board. When I go to calibrate it starts to spin for a split second then it comes to sudden stop as if it gets stuck and the lid lock light starts to blink. This all started because when we try to run the washing machine and it would stay in sensing mode with the lid lock flashing while making a loud humming noise. I eventually smelled an electrical burning smell after leaving it in sensing for several minutes. After attempting this again I am noticing that after it goes through the sensing mode a couple of times and it wants to start up but it looks like it gets stuck because it comes to a sudden stop just like it does when its trying to calibrate.
Could this be the drive motor or main electronic control board?

I put the washer in diagnostic mode and then set it to where rinse was selected to calibrate it. It finished with lid locked flashing. I kept going and put it in manual test mode where spin/done where illuminated. I followed that with the diags where wash/spin were illuminated and hit start …it did not spin at all …only made noises. Please advise.

I have a whirlpool washer that the motor isn’t running. I am getting error code F7 E9 which is not on the tech sheet. i seem to have a open winding. I am assuming I just need to change the stator. Has anyone else had this issue?

Looked online and technical manual both say check wiring from door latch to CCU or needs new latch. I tried a new door latch still error won’t even lock or start. Checked CCU board for burns looks good, checked wires for continuity good..
Could it just be needing a new CCU AND will I have to program it to take $2 dollars again for a wash with the new board or is that a separate computer inside the coin slot thing? Please keep the answer simple brain dead after this one.

During self test mode I got these three error codes relating to fill and drain cycles. E22, E23, E31
I replaced the water valve and flushed out all hoses and filter from drain section. Still had same problem.
Wash cycle starts with no issues. Water enters and fills tub, soap enters and wash cycle progresses.
The whole wash is supposed to last 59 minutes. The customer stated that his cycle stopped twice. once at 44 minutes and a 2nd time at 17 minutes during spin cycle. When I tested it, it stopped with me once only at 21 minutes going into spin cycle.
I was listening to all sounds from the washer during the entire 59 minutes. At 21 minute mark, the tub stopped turning, the drain pump sounded as if it was working but the start button on top panel was lit up like a xmas tree. I guess it was waiting for me to press the start button in order to advance the cycle. When I pressed the start button a second time, the tub continued to spin and the cycle advanced. Does this sound like a control board issue, a timer issue or drain pump or other ?
For this model, I think the timer is part of the control board.

Whirlpool Cabrio Customer complaint it doesn’t complete spin cycle, water is pumped out but clothes are still wet. They start spin cycle to finish load.
Error codes:
F7E7 – Motor unable to reach target rpm
F0E2 – Over suds
F7E1 – Basket speed sensor fault
Unit agitates and spins in diagnostics. There is no clothes caught between tubs. There were no flashing lights when performing the tachometer verification mode. Wires and connections were good.
Not sure if this is a shifter problem or main pcb problem?

Maytag Neptune washer model# MAH4000AWW – starts and stops:
This unit has a timer and a motor control board and a push start button. When you place the timer on any load size and press the start button, the washer begins and fills with water. Once filed the unit shuts off. It does not advance, the timer is not ticking like any egg timer or moving through the cycle at all. If you press the on/off button again it will fill with a little water but stops and turns off.
The motor control board and the time are both expensive. Too expensive to replace both, but i am having trouble separating out which one it may be. I am not looking to the motor because the timer is not advancing at all or should it be, I am not sure.

I have a GE SPACEMAKER stackable washer/dryer. Customer complained that the washer knob broke off and that the washer is not working. When I arrived I noticed the knob from the washer side was off the potentiometer aperture handle (timer knob) resting on the washer. I tested the dryer and the dryer appeared to be working fine. I tried to start the washer to test it by turning the timer knob (which had fell off of the control panel frame bracket) and pressing start button. Not only did the washer not show any sign of life by not starting, but I tried turning the knob on the timer without the knob attached and I could not hear any “click” coming from inside the timer indicating that it was advancing to the next stage of the washing cycle.
I removed the control panel cover and noticed the timer slid out of place in its socket when it was supposed to be securely fastened to the front panel. The knob was turning but the timer was not clicking as it advanced. I tried to unplug the connector OF THE TIMER from the wires but coud not notice any discrepencies visually. Should the wires have been checked ?? continuity ? voltage ? Could I have a bad timer ? If the dryer works fine and the power is getting to the dryer and stopping when it gets to the washer could the timer be preventing this ?
Timer part # 131758600 (WRITTEN ON TIMER ITSELF)
