My question has nothing to do with the specific model number of above. A coworker and I changed out a bad compressor. It ran for 2 days, then stopped. We were discussing our problem with other techs. One of the other tech asked us how we filled the new compressor with freon. We told him that we filled it with liquid on the low side line like we always do.
He said that we improperly filled the compressor and thus, broke it. He told us that the only way to properly fill a compressor is liquid on the high side and vapor on the low side. Now, we have made over 25 compressor change outs, and never had a problem.

What is the “only” or is there an “only way to fill a compressor?

I have a customer that wants me to convert his LG dryer to LP. It is an LG model # DLG3171. I typed this number into your model # guide, with no results. I checked PartsPro website and that number came up. So I know that it is a good number. Do you have a video for this model # or something close to it showing how to take it apart? And 2, how long should a job like this take?

I AM GETTING THE ERROR CODE ER RF. THIS PERTAINS TO A FAN IN THE UNIT BUT WHAT FAN? THERE ARE THREE. I INTENED TO CHECK IT FROM THE MAIN BOARD NEXT WEEK BUT I WANT BE ON THE CORRECT PATH. ALL INFORMATIOIN GREATLY APPRECIATED.

NOTE: UNDER THE BRAND NAME I COULD NOT INSERT LG.

Water leaking to pressure switch area through black hoses.
I dried the area and AE back again.
When I opened door I saw water being directed to front of door on ledge from water input.

The ice and water dispenser buttons are stuck and not working, do I have to replace them individually? Haven’t got it apart yet to see if maybe it’s all one assembly I can order.

Lg refridgerator LMXC23746D/00. Compressor is cooling in both the fridge and freezer but fans not running. Fans run while in the test mode when the control board button is hit

I would like to know how to put this refrigerator into test mode, some video for wach it thank you for the help.

This unit is stopping in the middle of it’s wash cycle with an “ee” error code. Any ideas on what it is before I get there to diagnose?

Can you give me some help, I would appreciate it.
First let me tell you, my dryer is completely apart! When the dryer was put on “Time Dry” it did not dry the clothes. It at first got slightly warm. And then went thru the whole time without drying the clothes.
What would you consider the most likely part(s) to be ? And how would I go about testing the component(s) with VOM?

Error and diagnostic codes.

The door on my LG refrigerator just slams shut.

Hi,
I looked at the titles of repair videos in your list. There are 3(I think) available LG Dryer repair videos that may be the issue, but the model number is different from mine……
1) Does that make a difference?
2) Do I have to purchase each video to find out how to fix it?
3) How can I tell which video will address my dryer’s problem?
4) I saw video titles for other brands of dryers (GE, Samsung, etc). Are the different brands and models so different from mine that one won’t apply to the other?

My LG washer keeps displaying an error code and i don’t know what it means.

We replaced an ice maker in their friigde the the tip of the water line froze like a month later then we installed a new piercing shutoff valve and the line froze two weeks later.

Wanting to know if LG has any s rvice updates for such a problem.

I have a LG dryer LG DLE1001W Electric Dryer. I keep getting these different error codes. TE error code, HS error code, U error code, D error code.

I checked the control it seems ok, so I’m assuming it’s the touchpad. Do you guys have some part information there you could pass along for this? Thanks.

Ice fan not sure if it is working? Send me a diagnotic sheet on this refrigerator so I can test functions on the computer board.

Unit not draining. Tried the drain pump and still no drain. 110v coming from both lines (separate readings) to drain pump. Thinking it does not have common. Believe it is the board. Looked on older USB and not their. Anyone have some info on this unit. Thanks in advance
