How do I gain access to springs.

One door spring broke, should I replace both?
Access to replace springs. Video etc.
Do I have to watch out for fragile ribbon cable on top panel that can crack.

Hi,
I just fixed the problem of my top freezer refrigerator leaking water following one of your videos, thank you so much! I am now wondering how long until the ice builds up again and clogs the drain. Is there anything you recommend we do to prevent this from happening again and do you know how long until I need to clear the drain again?
Thanks!

I’ve got this thing apart and have been checking parts to find the problem. It was tripping the breaker consistently and now I’m not sure what’s causing it. Checked the board, seemed fine. Checked the igniter, also good. Getting proper power to and from unit and the wall, so can anyone help me out?

Not sure what’s happened to our dishwasher door, it seems to not really ease open like it used to.

Hi Folks,
The complaint on this unit is it is not cooling up to par! This unit has an inverter. According to the home owner the condenser has never been cleaned. Clean the condenser and it seemed to lower the temperature. But the inverter continued to beep. It was an inconsistence pattern of on & off and beeping. Not that familiar with inventers and any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

I have a bottom freezer on my refrigerator. Ice has formed on the bottom and water is leaking from underneath my refrigerator. I replaced the part that was suggested in your video but I still have the same problem. Any suggestions?

Have unplugged unit for long periods 2 hours or more trying to reset any faults , see no faults , plugged back in this last time and lock out light came on . cannot clear it with end of cycle button , and will not let any buttons work . Display blank.
First few times I could unplug for about an hour and re connect and it would come on and dry to end of cycle . But while drying you could not pause or cancel drying. opening door would stop it however.
Is it interface board or control board ?
Thanks ;
Steve

I replaced the water inlet valve and the dual inlet valves due to the failed continuity readings. I waited 48 hrs and still no ice. I also felt no water in the tray, so I thought the icemaker water line was clogged-replaced that, and waited 48 hrs, and still no ice. Before I did all this I carried out the diagnostic tests you showed, and all systems were normal. Water pressure is normal in back and the water dispenser pressure looks normal. Icemaker dispenser sounds normal. Any suggestions?

Hello
We have an ice maker that was not harvesting
1) We have good water pressure and inlet valve was replaced .
2) Good freezer temperatures at + 1 degree with two different temperature test devices, ice cream solid.
3) 115 volts to the ice maker.
4) Replaced water filter
5) There is one switch in series that is closed and we have power to the ice maker.
6) Replaced two different new ice makers. Whirlpool tech. line wants us to put in a third new ice maker ? I don’t think this is our solution.

We can harvest manually one time and drops nice normal thickness cubes. Then will not harvest again. There are no service bulletins on this # WPW10469286 ice maker. Has anyone else had issues with these ice makers or have any suggestions before we put in a third ice maker ?

Thanks in advance

I can’t get my washer to spin and I keep hearing a clicking sound. I’ve turned it on its side and took off the shield, the belt and motor turn freely by hand. After watching one of your videos, I’m thinking I need the shift actuator part # W10006355 but wanted to see what you think before I purchased it. The washer appears to have a small leak, the actuator looks a little rusty.

I have an odd problem, our duet washer is filling, with hot water only, when completely turned off and not in use. I came down to do laundry and found quite a substantial amount in the tub already. I drained it and did my load, and then checked the next day and same thing. I have a feeling this is also causing our hot water heater to run more than normal since the water is actually warm. Any help is appreciated.

Dryer shuts off during high heat cycle after about 10 minutes, will run on low heat just fine. The dryer will start back up immediately after it shuts itself off. I replaced the motor in this dryer a little over a year ago, to me this sounds like a motor issue, but a little confused as to why it runs on the low temp cycle. Run with the vent off as well and same results as before. Any ideas or suggestions?

I am replacing the fresh food evaporator fan. I have watched your video on a similar model. This one is a 5 door and I’m not sure how to dismantle the draws and the center adapter between the two drawers.

do you think the 25 amp fuse would be the most likely of the problem?
