it’s been leaking water for a few months now…and it frost up where once a week, i’ll have to chop off the ice frost. Is that a repair part or do i have to replace the whole ice maker assembly?

Don, if its frosting up you may have an air leak causing condensation. Do you have a dispenser through the door ? If so make sure the door flap is sealing all the way and not causing air leakage.
