Reuse Dryer Sheets to Remove Stubborn Gunk Off Pots & Pans

Since you have learned you don’t need dryer sheets anymore, thanks to aluminum foil or DIY dryer balls, whatcha’ going to do with the rest of them? Whoa, hold on there—don’t toss out those sheets quite yet. Besides removing pet hair, freshening a trash can, and removing crunchy static from the TV screen, dryer sheets can also help you clean your grimy, caked-on-with-food-bits pots and pans. This DIY trick is embarrassingly super easy. Grab up your filthiest pots and pans caked on with the nastiest burnt bits and fill them up with hot water. Lay (used or unused) dryer sheet(s) onto the bottom of said bakeware, flat. Leave it alone and allow this concoction to sit overnight. The next day, the baked on grime will have loosened and released from your pots or pans. Wipe away the food bits with the dryer sheet, or easily scrape the gunk off with a spatula. Wash your bakeware accordingly, and you won’t believe how easy it is to clean one of the most dreaded chores in the kitchen. Who knew there is such power behind a little dryer sheet?
