If your washing machine is on it’s last leg, you might think to toss it out or resell it on Craigslist to make some extra cash. That’s great and all – you have to do what you have to do – but, did you know you can turn a broken washer into a grill?
It sounds crazy – and that it is, but hey, it involves food. You can never go wrong with food.
Over at Gomestic.com, C Jordan walks you through the steps of stripping a washing machine that can be turned into an incinerator for garden debris, a log burner, and a barbeque. You can get pretty much the best of three worlds in one.
It’s a simple process that only requires a screwdriver and a spanner – gloves never hurt either. The main part is removing the cabinet and cement blocks from around the drum. Now, the instructions don’t go further than stripping the clothes washing machine, but adding a screen and grill to the washer shouldn’t be too big of a hassle to figure out.
