Turn Your Slow Cooker into a Humidifier

There's no need to buy a  product you don't use all of the time when all you have to do is step into the kitchen. Your slow cooker is one of the best humidifiers you'll find!

To transform your slow cooker into a humidifier, fill it up with water. Put the lid on, and turn it on the high setting. Once you see steam rolling off the inside of the lid, lift it off, and turn your slow cooker on low so the water doesn't evaporate as quickly.

Breathe a sigh of relief as the steam lightly moisturizes the air. Keep an eye on the water level and refill with warm water if low. If necessary, replace the lid on the slow cooker to heat the water quickly again.

To make your home smell fantastic, add spices or drops of essential oils to the water. Eucalyptus, lavender, sweet orange, as well as cinnamon sticks and cloves, are all delightful additions.
