Treat Yourself to a Microwave “Brownie in a Mug”

‘Tis the season for all things good and chocolaty. If you have a hankering for some comfort-baked goods, but don’t feel like busting out your mixer, making a mess, or going to the grocery store, why not make a super easy microwave brownie in a mug? It’s the perfect treat for those “comfort food” cravings—especially in these cooler months. Plus, since you just steam-cleaned your microwave and warmed up your left overs (kudos to you for no sogginess), you deserve a nice afternoon dessert.

What better way than to enjoy a super easy brownie you microwave? This mug of deliciousness has a generous sharing proportion for two. Though if you eat the entire thing, we won’t tell. Now, go grab the biggest coffee mug you’ve got, and get ready to use that microwave of yours. This is what you need:

  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • A dash of salt
  • (Optional: add a splash of vanilla extract)

Simple ingredients for an amazing dessert. Some people do coat their mugs with a light oil greasing to help with the sticking. Mix it all together, cook it in microwave for a minute, and you’re good to go. Yum! » Mug Brownie by Spastic | Instructables
