Restore Leftover Pizza to Freshness in a Microwave with Paper Towels & Water

If you’re lucky enough that “leftover” pizza exists in your household, but aren’t a fan of rock hard crust the next day, we have an easy solution we found from One Pot Chef. Now, there’s nothing wrong with downing a cold slice in the morning, but when you’re in the mood for your day-old pizza to be as fresh as the night you bought it, your microwave has now just become your best friend. Prior to reheating your leftover pizza slice in the microwave, you’ll want to wrap it in a couple of paper towels. Then, go ahead and place a small cup of water along with your slice on the turntable. Nuke it in the microwave until your leftovers are heated through, and devour away. The paper towels help hold in the moisture so you’re not left with a desert dry crust, and the added cup of water will help moisten the cooking environment. It’ll taste so good, you won’t believe it’s day old pizza.
