If you have a ton of sweet corn you still need to cut off the cob, go out to your garage right now, you’re gonna need a power drill.

In the video below, Facebook user TK Brenner uses his power drill to get the job done—and as he likes to refer to it, it’s the “redneck way.” He drills a long bit into one side of a piece of shucked corn. He then inserts the cob through a corn cutter all while his power drill is turned on. To remove the remaining husk, he reverses the direction of his drill, and he’s onto the next.

Regardless of the redneck ways, it’s a quick and ingenious way to cut up corn fast to get it freezer ready.
