DIY Dryer Vent Pumpkin Decorations

What can you do with a dryer vent? Probably not much besides your typical HVAC work, but if you are Courtney over at A Diamond in the Stuff, you could make some really attractive pumpkins out of them.

According to Courtney, it’s very easy to do, and the following is how she does it:

Buy two dryer vents that measure 3 inches and 4 inches for a bit of variety. Cut them using wire cutters and scissors, and ensure you have sufficient length by twisting the vent in a circle and give room for gluing.

Using hot glue, attach the two raw ends of the vents together. Once you apply the hot glue,  press the ends together.

What is left of you is to paint them however you like; bring out your creativity here. Once the paint dries up, it’s time to put a stem on the pumpkin. Use a cinnamon stick or any other kind of stick from your yard. Once you have a stick, glue it into the center of the pumpkin. For texture, you can add Spanish moss. Halloween and autumn fall decorations couldn’t get easier.
