thyme-timer-app.jpgCooking a meal requiring multiple elements with different times can be a real challenge. Most of the time, you’re limited to one kitchen timer, which doesn’t help when you have 4 things cooking at once. While you do have an alarm on your phone, and maybe your grandma’s hand-me-down pendulum clock to stare at, what’s a person to do with a very limited amount of timers? A free, iOS app (available to Android in 2014) called Thyme is a user-friendly app that allows you to set up to 5 timers specifically to your stove. When you launch the app, a picture of 4 burners and an oven show up. With a simple tap of any of the burners or oven, you can set the timer of each one with the slide of your finger. It’s a simple, yet handy app to keep track of your cooking times. It sure does beat an over or undercooked meal (you’ve worked too hard for that). Go ahead, download it here.
