Microwave a Single Serve Cinnamon Roll in a Minute

Your microwave is seriously the best for all things junk food, sweet, salty, and every indulgence in between…hello taste bud heaven. From potato chips, peanut brittle, strawberry jam, and even a brownie, you now can satisfy the sweet tooth of a cinnamon roll craving right in your microwave. Not only is this super easy, it also literally takes one minute to cook up. Plus, you’re making a single-serving, which is nothing to feel guilty about. You can totally get away with this at the office. Though, we can’t promise your coworkers won’t want one for themselves. You have been warned.

Ok, onto all good things of sweet, let’s get the cinnamon roll party started. In the video above, YouTube user PrudentBaby shows you how it’s done the lazy way. Simply grab up your favorite prepackaged cinnamon rolls, pop open the container and place a roll into a small bowl or mug. Then, it’s time to nuke it. Depending on your microwave power the cooking time can vary, but a minute or so should do the trick. Now, in the case you don’t cook all of these babies up, there’s no way you are going to use all of that tube's frosting. Instead, grab yourself up a separate bowl with some powdered sugar and add a dash of water, and stir, stir, stir. You just made homemade cinnamon roll frosting in a snap and can drizzle to your heart’s content. If you’re feeling up to it, add your favorite toppings like ice cream, candied nuts, or sautéed bananas and brown sugar. Mmmm. As for the leftover cinnamon roll dough—that is, if you have any— go ahead and place it in a plastic sandwich bag or wrap in plastic wrap and toss it in the fridge for next time.
