So, you’ve transformed your refrigerator into a luxurious paneled masterpiece, why not make your own dishwasher cabinet? And even if you didn’t partake in that DIY project, this project is perfect if you’re looking for more storage space, plus it will give you an opportunity to spruce up your kitchen just like your kitchen pegboard wall organizer. (Psst- you have a ton of DIY stuff to do, no “I’m bored” excuses allowed!) A DIY dishwasher cabinet is great for those of you who don’t have a dishwasher and are in the market for buying one—instead of installing and constructing the dishwasher around the cabinets, you will be constructing the cabinets around your dishwasher. This project is also ideal if you have a portable dishwasher, although you may need to put on your creative hat for additional adjustments to make it work. Stacy, blogger of The Precious Little Things in Life, walks you through step-by-step with photographs how she made her dishwasher cabinet. Maybe like you, she didn’t have a dishwasher and would have needed to do construction work for an install. The only tricky part of this whole project is figuring out how to run the plumbing connections—once you have that figured out, this project can get a move on.
