Upcycle an Old Wooden Pallet Into a Vintage Pot Rack

If you have a wooden pallet lying around, why not repurpose it, and make a pot rack out of it above your stove? That’s exactly what the blog, A GreenPoint Kitchen, did. Now, you may need to give the pallet you’re working with some love and care, but it’s a great way to save space and offers a timeless look. You can sand and stain your pallet, or leave it as is—rustic is classic. Plus, who doesn’t want to show off those pans, right? Not to mention, the convenience of grabbing down a skillet directly to your cooktop is a win/win situation. This project will take a good day or weekend to do—also make sure you have yourself a friend or your significant other to help you out. With cut and measured chicken wire placed on top of the pallet, you’ll have yourself some extra storage space above. The pots and skillets are hung with S-hooks that are supported by a heavy coat-hanger wire. You can even hang your pots and pans from the chicken wire, but it’s recommended to only do that with lightweight items. It’s an awesome DIY project for that extra storage space you’ve been looking for. Check out the link below for the full guide:
