My Fisher&Paykel washer is making a squealing noise.

In getting it apart, looks as though I need a a diverter valve, does someone have time to get me the number? My lookup isn’t working very well and I’m in front of the torn down unit right now. Need to get this estimate written up.

I just applied the reset button on the heater housing thermostat and ran an operation test that was successful. Should I price out that thermostat for replacement or will that work?

DCS WOT-230 only heating to 265 degrees on top oven bottom ok, remove oven check elements, stats, all wiring connections, top sensor and lower sensor was a little different in ohms, so swapped them now top oven heats to 320 only when set for 350, lower oven still works fine, I thinking that the MCB is bad, anyone have any experience with this issue?

Checked the inlet valves, hoses, made sure I had water to the unit – it all looks good. Am now wondering if there’s an issue with the drain pump that is causing the unit not to start a cycle at all because the customer says it hasn’t been going into drain by itself, she was manually making it. What’s the part information for the pump if I do end up needing that?

What would cause this?

Didn’t find any error codes, unit had water left in it and wasn’t draining. Did find the pump leaking, so I’m going to be installing a diverter and pump. The only part number I could find was 426862P. Is that right?

Unit is running constantly, not turning off by itself. It’s also leaking water and tripping the flood switch. I think it needs link kits for both drawers, and an upper drawer seal to solve the leaking. I cleaned a lot of debris from the sump areas and it completed a cycle and shut off by itself. Could you guys help me out with parts availability and numbers?

I narrowed this down to an inverter board but now can’t get the model breakdown to come up. Any chance you guys can send it over to me, or the board part number?

I am working on a Fisher Paykel Dishwasher – Double Draw unit model# DD602I
This unit’s draws do not have the tabs on the side of the draw to “push” and remove draw to access the overflow sensor and/or grab the service tech sheet in the back inside of the unit.
Looking for the tech sheet for F/P DD602I ? I have the one for the DD603? If they are the same I will use it, but I believe they are different.

I think this is the hot and cold solenoids but I can’t find the parts for them. Hoping you can get them for me. Only do a couple of these each year .

I’ve been trying to find an element for this dryer, it’s not heating and I’m pretty positive this is what it needs. Am having a heck of a time tracking it down.

I found the thermal fuse blown and reset it. Seems to be working fine now. Should I just replace it to be safe? Am assuming it will happen again and would save a trip charge for the customer.

I have a call scheduled to run and haven’t worked on many of these, I’m assuming it will be a simple fix, maybe an element, but wanted to know if you had any information on them that would help to familiarize myself? Thanks.

Some kind of error lights are coming up the customer said but I’d like to try and take a part with me if possible. Any thoughts?

I’m trying to find the part information on a middle (center) burner electrode kit. I don’t even know if I can replace it without some help getting to it. But if you have some part information that would be helpful.

Not very knowledgeable on these yet and am wondering if it’s a bearing like many other brands? Has a slight rubbing noise as well, am thinking it may be more than one thing but not sure. Any help would be great.

Just wanted to post a reminder to all those out there that may read this: I’ve had more burning smell & lint build ups this year than ever before. Just came across another today. Many have had a flame rollout has already caused some burning lint and there’s limited air flow causing long dry times. Please be sure to clean out these dryers if you’re in there working on them already, and if you can’t get the vent completely cleared, have a professional come do it, or strongly suggest it to the customer. This becomes such a serious fire hazard when left alone and unnoticed.

Looks like the relay on the control board for their gas heat is bad & it needs a control module. Problem is, we don’t do many of this brand and I don’t have a lookup for this dryer. Any way someone could get me part information?

Found the relay on the control board for the gas heat bad, and need the control module. I’m having a hard time on the lookup for it. Initially the unit just wasn’t heating. Thanks

Is it typical for these units to need both the ccu & mcu? In this case it also needed a diverter valve as well but customer have a hard time ok’ing the repair amount and there’s not much I can do to cut costs for them beyond our usual coupons.

Just replaced a bad element in this electric dryer and found a huge build up of lint both in the dryer and backed up the venting. A different company had been out recently and not mentioned it or cleaned it out. This is a huge safety hazard, as well as bad business. If you’re in a customer’s home or doing your own repair, please check the other components and take care of any safety hazards before completing the job. If you can’t get it clean enough, recommend a duct cleaning company to ensure this doesn’t come back on you.
