I replaced the ice maker in this Amana refrigerator. Since replacing, cubes are not hardening, ice is clumping in the bin because water not completely frozen when harvested. Temp in freezer is zero. The Amana ice maker part number changed to the DQ model. I transfered over all the parts to the new model. I’m thinking the harvesting is happening to soon or the heater is on to long. The ice maker did not harvest any ice in the first 24 hours and the cubes were frozen toward the evaporator but not completely frozen to the front of the unit. Any ideas on whether I should try a second ice maker or what to look for? Thanks for your help in advance

at first if you pushed hard it would work but not now, only way i can use it is change cycle!

Went on job Amana refrigerator not cooling found evaporator fan motor not running check voltage at fan 53 volts check heater and T S all good, replace T S. ran refrigerator 15 minutes to aloud T S to close still 50 volts no tech sheet can someone help. If place one volt meter lead on fan motor terminal and other lead to ground on refrigerator body getting 120 volts. Can someone help.

Inspected device burner has Cottonwood.
Unplug the device let set for two minutes plugged in code went away but reappeared next day when customers using code appears when lower burner is activated in oven not one upper burger is being used

Amana washer unlocks before spin and doesn’t spin, what could cause that?

The front right burner isn’t lighting or working at all. Does this come as an assembly? I think the entire base comes with the components/parts included but wanted to make sure first before ordering.

The lid lock just clicks when you start the washer. Every thing checks ok. I even tried a new lock. But it does the same . After an hour I am at roadblock . Actuator is ok. Help!

He wants to know step by step what a thermostat does and how it works.

My Amana refrigerator is not cooling in the FF section and also has ice build up in the bottom of the freezer.

When I push the High Speed Option the washer stops but if I push the Medium Speed button than it works fine. What do you think could be the problem? Thank you

This is a very old model with an electronic defrost control. The evaporator motor runs through the heater and defrost thermostat. A few months ago I had to replace the defrost t-stat for the same symptom. Is there a way to initiate an automatic defrost cycle on this model? How can I test this ADT? Someone was supposed to have changed it several months ago

If I replace one volt meter lead on fan terminal and the other lead to ground on refri body getting 120 volts. No tech sheet, can someone help with inform or tech sheet. Thanks
