I am replace a control board on a GE wall oven model JGRP16GEP1BG. Problem is the instructions to wire the cooling fans are completely useless, the wiring diagram came with 3 sheets. The first sheet has some useful info on installing jumpers and the bake and broil relays, but the next two pages were from a front load washer on installing a soap dispenser, these were all stapled together! There is a third relay which I will have to do a live test to see what that relay is doing if anything.

I’ve been just using my lower but am now thinking I’ll need both in the coming weeks. If somebody could point me in the right direction and give me some information that’d be great.

Model PFSS2MIYC SS
The door alarm was beeping intermittently as well as the display inside was going off and on. Now the display panel (inside) has gone blank but the refrigerator is still working. How do I determine whether to replace the main control board or just the one in the display? Thanks

I am working on a GE dishwasher model# GLD4456R00CS and the unit had gotten hit by a power surge and burnt out control board. I replaced control board kit ( cam with both control board and touch control board w/ connector harness). Now the clean light keeps blinking steady no pauses, and the touch pads do not work. I checked connections but all good. A bad new touch control or something else? No service tech sheet in unit.
Any help greatly appreciated thanks.

Neither element works. I tried broil, bake, etc.

Lite functions inside the oven.

No other sign of power.. Nothing happening.

There’s a plate looking piece in the top of my microwave that has a hole burned through it. Is it something I can replace? Seems relatively easy and it’s been bothering me. Not sure what it is to even call and order it.

I think I’ve narrowed this down to a bearing but am unsure. Couldn’t find a video to match up and confirm. My son suggested maybe some sort of felt pads as well that he replaced on his. Thought maybe somebody there could help me.

Tried to use my self clean and it just flashes “door” and doesn’t work. Wasn’t sure what this means. I closed it and locked it but it does seem a little bit looser than normal. Maybe it’s not latching completely?

I installed the condenser fan just fine, I had to get a sub for the main board which was WR55X10942 which says it replaces the original number of WR55X10037!
The instructions say to check for a green wire and cut it , also to cut a thermister wire if “it is a bottom freezer drawer unit or if it has “X” in the Serial number, This one is neither, so I just installed it. Some of the connectors are in a different places but they all did fit…
The compressor and condenser fan came on after a few seconds and shut off after 5 or 7 seconds. NO display inside the fridg.
any suggestions , do you think I have a bad new replacement board?

I can’t seem to find what the issue is here, initially diagnosed as the pad actuator but that doesn’t seem to be it now that I have it apart. Any thoughts?

Wanted to post a quick reminder out there to check out all valves/fittings/connections on gas appliances. Had another one today that just needed tightened down at the compression fitting at the safety valve, and that was all it took. Whenever you work on gas, take a few extra minutes to check please! Easier to do when you’re in there already.

I am working on a ge gas range, model jgbp325el3ad. This unit has had four modules and a clock changed in the last two years due to continued spark ignition. The ground checks okay. even ran extension cord to different outlets to attempt to prove outlet is okay. Everything there checks good., The issue now is that the model number does not come up in any of the parts listing I to, to order parts, etc. did not match the model number listed on the oven nomenclature tag. Two questions: One has anyone encountered the ignition problem I have described where a new spark module last for about 30 days and the unit starts parking again> and two, any suggestions on the model number>
thank in advance …

GE refrig model: PFSF5RKZAWW that is Dead, no display, no interior lights, no fans, no compressor.
He verified 120 v through emi filter to the main board and inverter but unit will not fire up. Pulled individual harnesses to see if something may have been shorting low voltage but no change. He did change main board and user interface with same results.

Freezer light not working and will not dispense water and ice. Ice maker not making ice and no water in ice maker mold.
I suspect this is all related. Found tech sheet and ran diagnostics. Appears ref door switches are working. Freezer door switch is working. Ref lights come on but the freezer light does not come on. No power to led lights for freezer (checked at light), checked for both ac and dc volts. Do I need to replace the PCB located at the top of the left ref door.
Would this be a correct diagnosis?
