Evaporator has good frost pattern all the way through, has an e on freezer temp display and an f on ref temp setting display. Evap fan seems to be working normally.

Hi. I have attached the tech sheet for you on a similar unit. The EF error code is for the evaporator fan motor. The issue can be with the fan itself, the wiring or the control board. Even with the fan running and working properly, it may not be sending a proper signal back to the control board.
