Hello, That answer does not seem applicable to this model. The error codes was e2 f2. I tested the voltage and replaced the touch pad. I need a oveo the diagnostic reset. It there a different sequence of buttons that need to be pushed for this model?
  • Shawn NOTE : Invoking Service Diagnostics cycle clears all status and last run information from memory and restores default settings. You can also try to reset the dishwasher control panel, it needs to be disconnected from the power source for one minute. If your dishwasher is plugged into an outlet, simply unplug the unit for one minute and then plug the unit back in. If the dishwasher is hard wired to the power supply, turn the breaker off at the home electrical panel that powers the dishwasher for one minute and then turn the breaker back on.
  • All of this information are in the two links I sent you . Every detailed step by step procedure are in these manuals for your specific model.

Hello, I hop you can help. My Dishwasher Model MDB4949SDM2. Serial number. F54032284 I received the error code e2 f2. i checked the votage from the corol board and it read over 5 volts. I replaced the touch panel. The part replaced matches exactly WD10619840D. I believe this should be the fix because the touchpad now makes noise when I hit the buttons. I need the correct procedure for clearing the e2 f2 error code. The procedure previously giver 123, 123, 123 does not seem to work or clear the codes on this dishwasher.
  • Hi. Check the part part number of the touch panel you replaced. I show the correct part number is WPW10562079. If you are still getting the error code on the display then the part is faulty or the issue could be the control board. The 123, 123, 123 sequence has to be entered with no lights on (stand by mode). So if you have the error code on the display the unit may not enter into diagnostics. Also, if the touch panel buttons are not working or responding it will not enter this mode either. Press cancel to try and get the error to go away, and with no lights on, enter the diagnostic mode. The error should not present after the new touch panel was installed. The error should not have to be cleared. If the error is still present after the new part was installed and power restored, It means the unit is still having an issue and the error code is current and it was not fixed with the new part.

  • It should not give that error for anything else. Did you verify the part number you installed was correct? Take a look at error code f2 e1 in the tech sheet. This is also a touch panel error that can also be a faulty control. It will have you run through some procedures to find out which one is bad. I would recommend doing this.
