Thank you! As I’ve said, I’ve already replaced the door lock and control board. The door lock wiring only goes in one way. Could you please a part number for the door lock terminal? Would that cause the clicking sound?
  • Hello You can call or parts department with the model at 1-800-830-5465. They will look it up for you. If you replaced the door lock and it did not work, and the terminal does not rectify the issue you will need a control board. You said you replaced the control board but also said it was not available. Where did you get the control board? If you did not replace it sometimes you can find control boards that are no longer available on EBay or Amazon. I would ask the parts department for the PCB part number. You can also remove the control board and send it in to Core Centrics to do a board rebuild at . The repair tech that came to my house said the control boards weren’t available. I found one myself on ebay, it wasn’t new but they said it was tested to be working. So I can’t be 100% that’s still not the issue. Thank you, I’ll call tomorrow to order that terminal and will send my old control board out to be rebuilt.
  • Mike, also double check on the control board by the serial number on the washer. There are Samsung models that take different control boards, they are separated by the serial number only. Be sure they check by the serial number.

When you say, “door lock terminal is broken” you’re referring to a physical part of the door lock assembly? The tag on the control board I purchased is missing. There’s raised embossed letters in the bottom left corner that say: GRACE JR GUIDE-PCB(C) DC61 – 03033A >PS-HI(VE1877)< C.S 2-1 Which is identical to mine except for the last line which says: B.W-1*2 Does that mean anything?
  • Yes, correct on the lock assembly. The only numbers that mean anything are the DC61 – 03033A . Its sounds like its the correct board. You just do not know if its been installed before and its a good board. If you purchased it from a parts distributer that had it new, you would be sure its never been installed.

Thank you for your help. You are correct I don’t know if that board is 100% working. I know the door lock assembly is 100% new. I’m contacting CoreCentric to rebuild my control board now.
