I tried the to get the dishwasher into the test cycle but it will not go into the cycle. it seems like the start cancel pad does not work. I replaced the display board touch pad and i am having the same exact problem. there are no error codes displayed except PF when I turn off the breaker and then back on again. and that goes away after a minute or so. or after i touch the heavy wash button. which is one of the only buttons that lights up
  • Have you already replaced the Console Assembly,w/overlay, p# 154791801? This would be the most common part to fail and cause buttons and lights to not work. If that part has been replaced and you are still having the same issue, then it must be a faulty control board. p# 154815601.

I hate to put another $140. Part into it at this point . Is there any other part that could b bad ???
  • I can not see it being anything other than those two parts I mentioned above. Just to verify, the part you already installed was the console, part # 154791801?

Yes I replaced control panel with a new touch pad # 154791801 and I reconnected the green / blue ribbon 2 x s. To make sure I had it plugged in all the way . And same issue .
  • The only two possibilities that would cause this issue are a bad connection to the board / ribbon console. Or defective parts. If you double check your connections to both parts and thay are all good. I would remove the parts and take them back for warraty replacement. We have had many defective control boards out of the box.

is it more likely that the NEW control board is Defective or the NEW console pad is defective? replaced both and no change. Is there any chance it could be the door switch ?
