I have a customer that wants me to convert his LG dryer to LP. It is an LG model # DLG3171. I typed this number into your model # guide, with no results. I checked PartsPro website and that number came up. So I know that it is a good number. Do you have a video for this model # or something close to it showing how to take it apart? And 2, how long should a job like this take?

My icemaker is working, but it seems that some water is getting into it and causing all of the ice to freeze together.

This unit has a door that’s not closing properly, and possibly a control issue. I explained to the customer that it could be either, but would a new door hinge really be the first route to go, or should I also order the control just in case? The door latches and isn’t leaking, but it doesn’t sit correctly.

I’ve replaced the main board and heater already myself but must have done something wrong because the HE error code is still coming up. Did I get a bad heater? Or could there still be a different issue? Thanks for your help.

My LG washer is very loud while in use.

No heat.

I have a washer that the drain pump will only come on for 3 seconds then shut off. Hoses are good and no obstructions. Everything else works normal except drain issue. Steve

First off, I did not see an error code as the screen was black, even though the machine was still running.

Problem: Door spontaneously flew open at the start of the rinse cycle when the machine was filled. It happened twice (yes, I tried it again), both occurring at the same time in the cycle. It doesn’t seem to be the lock mechanism, because it locks perfectly during the rest of the time. I’ve used the machine since to spin hand washing, and it works fine. Your help is appreciated. My washer wont spin out

My Lg window air conditioner is leaking water.

The customer had previous service for the ice maker freezing up and a new ice maker was installed by previous servicer. Based on customer complaint of needing to manually thaw the fill tube we replaced the water valve. Customer now reports continued icing up in the ice maker.

Pretty sure it’s the evaporator fan motor but can’t find any information on it. Hoping you have it there.
