I replaced ice tray and clip for thermister on tray. It is seating properly and firmly against the bottom of the ice tray. Ice maker actuated but when rotating tray 1/2 inch it hits Icemaker arm I suppose a switch inside arm tells Icemaker to return to original position.
I primed the ice tray with some water and it dumped the cubes in the bucket but did no subsequently fill with water.
I checked the water valve by temporarily moving the dispense connector on the water valve to the ice maker water valve and water flowed into ice tray when I pressed water dispense on outside of fridge.
How do I do an electronic fill test using diagnostic mode . I am buying Icemaker and would like to fully test before leaving the location .

Hi. I have attached a similar but not exact service manual for you. With everything you have explained and all the testing you have done, sound like you either have a faulty ice maker or control board.

Trying to initiate a fill by unplugging and plugging fridge with icemaker on. Ice maker starts to cycle but stops at the tab on the arm. Should I raise the arm slightly so the twisting tray will continue full cycle past the arm and then start a fill? How do I start a ice maker test sequence to sends 115 volts to ice maker fill valve.

On the bottom of the head of the ice maker there is a button. Press and hold this button in for about 10 seconds until the ice maker starts to cycle and let go. This runs a complete cycle for the ice maker.
