My Kenmore dishwasher shut off in wash cycle with the bottom full of water and the electronic controller will not illuminate. There is power to the unit and no wires are loose.

Hi. I was unable to look up your model number. Please recheck model number. It should only have numbers. The K in the model number is probably wrong. First thing I would do is reset the unit by removing power to it for 5 mins and turning back on. I would check for power at the control board. See if you have 120 V coming into the board. Also, dishwashers now have a thermal fuse located on or near the control board. This may have tripped causing you symptom. Check to see if you fuse is good. IF you fuse is good and you have power to the board, you have a bad control board or touch panel. I have attached a video to show you the thermal fuse.
