I’ve got an error code E08,03 – short circuit coil, wiring to coil or controller, replace controller

The water seems to be entering the tub okay when I put it into diagnostics, however when I tried to put it into a short cycle diagnostics mode, the dishwasher wouldn’t enter into this diagnostics mode. I’m suspecting a bad control board.

What have you tried so far?

I’ve put it into diagnostics mode and it wouldn’t complete it but when I tested the parts individually the water valve was working and water entered the tub. I originally suspected the water inlet valve.

See service manual link below. If you cannot get the the unit into the diagnostic mode the control board needs to be replaced. Please verify again in the service manual link below you are correctly entering it into the diagnostics before purchasing the board.
