Customer calls and freezer is cool but fridge side is warm ,ice on back of freezer fans sounds running and so is the compressor. Sounds like it is not going into defrost . Need service manual on this animal and asap so i can make a nickel Brian

This is how you force a defrost mode.This product comes equipped with an Electronic DefrostControl. To initiate defrost, depress the fresh food light switch 5 times in 6 seconds (light bulb must be working). To terminatedefrost, depress the fresh food light switch 5 times in 6 seconds.

i did that and nothing happened i thought everything should shut down when it goes into defrost. Maybe the adc is bad also i dont hear air being transferred from freezer to fridge maybe damper control is bad and if so how do i go about checking it

Sorry, not finding any videos out there on putting this into defrost mode. Try unplugging the unit first for 10 mins to reset it. Then try again. You may have an issue with this ADC. Another way to diagnose this is by process of elimination. Test your heater and defrost t-stat. If they check out good, then you have a bad ADC.
