Hi!
The problem is the following:
1. After turning on of a refrigerator, it works for ~2 hours, temp. goes down to -20 and +5 in freezer and cooling chamber, compressor stops
2. Then, after 10-15 minutes, it tries to start for 8-10 seconds, producing loud clicks and then stops. Freezer fan is working all the time.
3. Temp. goes up to +10 in both cameras, producing A1 or A2 alert.
If I give him a rest for 4-5 hours, this cycle repeats.
But some times (I don’t know why) this scheme breaks – compressor works (normally?), but temp. in cooling chamber rises up +10, meanwhile temp. in freezer drops to -26-27.
Thus, there is strange behavior – sometimes it seems to make vacuum in freezer, after the door is closed.

What have you tried so far?

1. I measured temp. of a working compressor, it was +70. I placed a fan behind it and temp. won’t raise above +35 now (I measured the body of compressor) (no overheating?);
2. I measured main winding and start winding resistance: it was 15.2 Om and 16.8 Om respectively (no short circuit?);
3. I measured resistance of evaporator – it showed 250 Om (no short circuit?);
4. I measured resistance of some small white box with 4 wires, placed on the top of radiator element, it showed 0 Om on both lines when it’s off, and 7Om on blue wire and 0 on yellow wire when compressor stops working;
5. I checked – there’s no extra ice on freezer – just small amount, distributed evenly over radiator and evaporator;
6. I checked both fans: in cooling chamber it works periodically and in freezer it works all the time;
7. I tried to check, if freezer flap works, but not quite sure if it works. It seems that cool air comes through, but may be juse walls are cold…;
8. I measured working cycles: works for 15 minutes and has a rest for 10 minutes;

This clicking can either be caused by a faulty overload and relay on the compressor, or a faulty main control board. Sounds to be like the overload and relay is at fault. Verify where the clicking is coming from and replace that part. I could not look the model number up you provided.

Question closed. There was a problem with a capacitor, I replaced it with new one and everything worked perfectly!

I think, I’ve described something not properly, sorry for my English 🙁
Actual problem is that after 2-3 cycles of normal work, compressor won’t start at all – it produces clicks for 8-10 seconds, then switches off, waits 2-3 minutes and tries to start again, but fails – freezer fan works, but compressor – not.
As a result after 7-8 hours there is an A1 or A2 error on display and refrigerator starts beeping. Temp. in freezer and cooling chamber may be at +10-+15 degrees. If left it in this state further, temp. will raise up to room’s temp. – +25.
I think, there should be some problem in its board or one of its temp. measuring components, but not sure witch one…

Anton, it sounds like the unit is operating normal. It will go into deep freeze mode to -20 degrees before it goes into the defrost mode. after defrost you will be at +5 degrees or as high as +10 degrees. Normal temperatures should be -5 degrees to 0 degrees in freezer and +35 to +44 degrees in refrigerator. Do not look at compressor run time its all based on computer board analysis with thermistors monitoring indoor and outdoor temperatures and many other conditions. Matt Ace technician
