We have watched and repaired/replaced drain tube. However, we still have ice forming on the floor of the freezer and are wondering if we need to defrost the drain line and how to do it.

Chris, yes you will need to defrost the the drain to eliminate the ice from forming again. I provided two videos below. Matt Ace technician
