What have you tried so far?
I’ve released the tab and the electric connector. The assembly will pull forward a half-inch or so, but no further – even when I pull pretty hard.

Hi, These ice makers do take some force to slide out. Make sure the wire harness is not getting bound up or stuck as it slides forward. The ice box or liner around the ice maker could be warped, preventing it from sliding out. I have ran into this a few times, but is not common.
