Customer says he saw icemaker in freezer with wires hanging from icemaker so he respliced them then pcb lite is blinking and ice despenser flapper opening and closing. What a mess huh lol

Sounds like you will need an ice maker, p#DA97-07603A. You can not get the sensor separate. You can try unplugging the unit to reset it. Un splice the wires first or disconnect the ice maker to see if that will take care of it. If not you could be looking and the control board as well.

Brian the icemaker in french door in the bottom of the unit not the top one.And i did not think you could just replace the thermister on the icemaker itself???
