My Kenmore elite side by side compressor has been running all the time. The door seals appear to be ok and I cleaned out the condenser coil. The unit is not going into a defrost mode. Is there anything you guys think may be causing the problem. George

If it’s not going into defrost you need to check the defrost heater and termination thermostat if both are good you may have bad control board the heater and thermostat are on the evaporator in the freezer .when you check thermostat it has to be at least 40 degrees you check them with a volt ohm meter
