Hi! The freezer on my 2 year old GE fridge/bottom freezer seems to have gone into overdrive after a recent power outage. The water line to the water in the fridge door is frozen and the cheese in bottom crisper drawer in the fridge above the freezer are blocks of ice cheese. Any tips?

Hello yes with my experience, the problem is either in the main control board or a thermistor.
