I have a dishwasher that powers on and when you hit start it counts down lines go across the screen it sits for around 1 min and powers down any thoughts?

Hi. Is this a new unit? I am not able to pull up any information on this one. I would advise to run the diagnostic cycle and check for error codes if we could get a tech sheet for it. Could be a door lock or control issue. I will continue looking.

Yes it’s new. You would start with the door locking switch?

I would press start with the door open and see if it does the same thing. If so I would be looking at the door latch. If it reconizes the door being open it will act differnt. It should ding or flash. If so, the latch shouldnt be the issue.
