As far as I can tell, there is a fan in the freezer that when the door is closed, it starts to spin and gets loud. When the freezer door is opened, it stops. There is also lots of ice starting to build up on the walls of the freezer.

Samsung front load washer 8 yrs old not fully draining and not spinning

Customer complained that clothes were still wet at end of cycle. I put a load of beach towels in, wet them, then did a drain and spin cycle. The only thing I noticed was when the washer starts to spin at a low spin (just past the tumble part) the whole tub assembly wobbles pretty bad. On this particular cycle it actually went on through the rest of spin and drain and worked just fine. Any ideas?

The freezer section is frozen solid. I am letting it thaw over the weekend because I can’t get it apart. I’m looking at some drawing, and all I see is the evaporator with all the part included. Can I not get these parts separately, or do I have to change the entire evaporator?

A customer asked me to replace his door switch. He said that everybody he called would not come out…. He bought the switch, and I put it in. BUT, after a few minutes, the ctl board flashed FL. And wouldn’t unlock.

looking at above washer today, customer says they are getting error codes NF and DC. Unit is banging on the right side when spinning.
NF is a water issue which is easy enough to check. Are there any bulletins out for the unbalance error? Is there anything specific I need to check?

This unit will not spin out. The time will say 7 minutes, then it will increase to 11 minutes. It will not complete the cycle. The basket will tumble and the drain pump cycles on and off. The drain pump does work and will drain the unit before it starts the spin cycle.
I put it in rinse and spin cycle and the unit stayed at 9 minute mark for over 10 minutes until I powered it down.
Customer did not recall seeing any error codes and I could not find a tech sheet to go into service mode to check for error codes.

I’ve watched your videos on how ice build up behind the back panel will prevent a frig from getting cold. I’ve also had to remove this build up of ice myself a total of 3 times. I noticed after the last time I removed the ice and plugged it back in my frig temp gauge would show 34 degrees but the compartment was not close to being that cold. Why would my frig not get as cold as the temp gauge even after I cleared all the ice out? Now I’m in the process of removing ice again and my question is what part do you think, based on your experience as a repair technician, I need to replace so I don’t have to do this every 2 months? I can verify that the fan is still operating properly. Would you suggest I replace the heater? Or the sensor? If I purchased the heater would the sensor also come with it? The frig is only 2 yrs 4 months old. Thanks for your help.

French door unit with fresh food evaporator drain freezing up. Went out prepared to replace fresh food fan cover, but this one was different. The drain was steamed repeatedly from both ends, drain pan and evaporator, but to no success getting it opened up. Finally fished a 1/4″ plastic line up from the drain pan side about 20 – 30″ and forced steam up through the 1/4″ line inch by inch until the line thawed and water flowing once again.
This is the second time in the last 7 months we have had to do this process. I do not see a fix other than getting a new unit. The line freezes inside the back wall of freezer because of the way the line is routed. As you looking at the unit from the back, it is the drain tube to the far right side, the center drain is for the freezer.

Good Evening Matt, do you have the service manual for this unit. Has an e84 error code, customer states they hear a pop noise before the code displays.

Thanks

Dishwasher wasn’t working.
Tested for 120v to dishwasher. Ok
Pulled power plug from control board. Nothing

Losing power between electrical connection and control board. Looks like a possible transformer wire harness between the two.

Suggestions on what to test?

Smart Auto and Heavy LED blinks at the same time when it goes to drain cycle.
The manual said “Functional Error. Turn off the dishwasher and try to start it again. If the problem continues, contact the authoizedSamsung service center.” Do you know how to fix this issue? Thank you.

(Viking fridge brand. search has issues finding after error due to not selecting appliance type)
Replaced gasket and fresh food door doesn’t stay closed. NO THIS MODELS HINGE IS NOT UNDER RECALL. Tried raising the front of the fridge and nothing. Rubbed a bit of lube on gaskets, nothing. Tried udjusting the top hinge bracket in different directions and nothing. Put old gasket back on and seems to be staying closed at least a lot better than new gasket. I was thinking to heat gun the gasket until it compresses better like the old one? But why does the freezer close so well and these Viking side by sides always have issues? What are some other things I can try besides heat gun the new gasket a bit so it isn’t so thick ??

Customer reports that the unit has stopped cooling several times, he leaves it unplugged for awhile and when he plugs it back in it works fine and cools appropriately.

For this kind of problem, do we need clips only for this problem or we have to worry about the ICe Maker and argue motor replacement? Thank you.

I’m having constant issues with my ice maker freezing up in my Samsung french door fridge. Is there a fix for this? The unit is only 3 years old and this has been an ongoing problem. I’m tired of defrosting it every few weeks.

Drains, fills, door locks, but timer keeps resetting ( adding more time to the cycles) when there is like around 9 mins left in cycle. Clothes are still wet. But it spins. Can’t get it to diagnostic mode to read any error
