not fully draining and spinning

Hi. WIth the unit not draining properly you either have a clogged or kinked hose somewhere or a bad drain pump. Double check all hoses for clogs and kinks or anything that would cause the unit to drain slowly. If everything checks good then you must have a bad drain pump. I have seen the pumps work when there is no pressure from the water on the impeller and then when you get water pressure back on it they will fail again. Did you check the pump filter first? That would be my first guess. I have had the drain pump still run but be damaged. I would check the filter, drain hose to see if it’s kinked or restricted and also check where the pump to tub hose connects to the washer (I’ve seen a large item clog up the hole on the washer tub). If all that checks out, I would then replace the drain pump
