Run the unit throgh diagnostics , if you cannot run throgh diagnosits replace touchpad. This unit has a service update. Serial Numbers beginning with F2, F3, and F4
Concern:
Dead or intermittent operation of UI Console Keypad and/or the start/cancel
button operate intermittently or fail to operate.
Cause:
Intermittent or failed button operation on the UI can result from a number of
different causes, including loose wiring, improperly placed button domes, and
ordinary wear and tear. A number of customers have reported intermittent
or failed button operation due to corrosion or silver migration on the ribbon tail of
the flexible membrane switches found in the Classic-style Console Assemblies. See Techniocian diagnostic sheet link below for further troubleshooting information.
