I have a friend that is farther than I want to travel. His washer is making noises and sometimes stops mid cycle. I’d like to talk our way on the phone to find the problem.
Will you send me (us) the diagnostic code ? Or better yet, direct me on how to get this very important tool or where to look for it WHEN I need it when trying to troubleshoot ANY appliance that I’m working on?
Thank you

Nothing. He called me and told me what is going on. I would like to help him out over the phone or directing him on where to go on the internet.

Hi. I found a service manual on a similar unit. It is not your exact unit but looks very close to your model. What type of noise is he getting? Is it during the spin cycle? Does it get louder the faster the unit spins? This would be a sign of bad tub bearings and is not cost effective most of the time to repair. Check to see if the basket is loose or no longer a circle and has become more oval shape. You can spin the basket by hand and look for this. Check to see what error codes the unit has stored.

Hello

Test mode
The washer must be empty and the controls must be in the off state.
1. Press the SPIN SPEED and SOIL LEVEL buttons simultaneously.
2. Press the POWER button, while the above condition. Then buzzer will sound twice.
3. Press the START/PAUSE button repeatedly to cycle through the test modes.

Caution
There’s built-in AC 110V and DC power in output terminal or ( PWB ) assembly in common. Be careful electric
shock when disconnecting parts while trouble shooting. Wear Electro Static Discharge gloves when working on unit .
After cutting off the power when changing PWB assembly, disconnect or assemble.
Be careful static when handling PWB assembly, and use Electro Static Discharge plastic pack when delivering
or keeping it. See complete diagnostics in the technician manual link below. Matt Ace technician
