Usually, when I OPEN the fridge door I can hear a fan motor stop. I don’t hear it anymore. Now, frost is building in the freezer and on the evaporator coils (not a lot.) Some water drops collecting on top panel of freezer.
Food items are still frozen, but the fridge is not as cold as it should be. Does the evaporator fan have two speeds? One for constant, low-level cooling and another speed for catch-up cooling?
Checked cooling settings. Pulled the plug and cleaned both compartments. No spills or evidence of a malfunction.
Ice maker works, but frost collecting on cubes.
Took apart the evaporator panel as in your video. Technician: Matt from Toledo, Ohio.
Evaporator fan works, blowing air INTO the freezer compartment, but only slightly.
No air can be felt flowing into the refrigerator compartment.
Compressor works fine. Quiet and throwing heat.
Condenser cooling fan works. Cleaned blades.
Coils are completely cleaned. Door switch works with the lights.

when you removed evaporator cove was there a complete frost pattern on the evaporator? if not its a sealed system problem if there was a light coating of frost across complete evaporator you may have just a bad fan motor that motor is just a one speed motor also check the return air passages to fresh food section if there blocked wont move air down to fridge

There is no pattern of frost on the coil, just some here and there.
I took apart the foam air passage – all clear.
Is there another blower that turns on-and-off with the door? Maybe I’m missing something if the evaporator blower isn’t a dual-speed motor.
