The dryer had an e63 error. I replaced the heater because it was grounded. It still has the door open error on the display. I bypassed the door switch, no fix. Could the mainboard be faulty?

I replaced the heater, not the thermostats. Both tested ok. I bypassed the door switch.

Check the thermal fuse. P# 134711401. Its on the vent tube off of the blower housing. This will cause the open door error. This fuse more than likely failed with the element being shorted.
