Dryer counts down but does not run

I turn the dryer on and hear a click from the main board on back of gas dryer. Dryer counts down as well. Belt switch is good. The tech ordered the board but I was inquiring about the fuse behind the blower housing. If that is O.L. would that create the problem or just shut down the heating part. Steve
